How do we apply?

Creative Wall at the Hall with Jo Cahill, The Painted Picker

Waunakee Village Hall
500 West Main Street
January & February, 2016
Monday through Friday
7:00 AM - 4:15 PM

Have you ever heard the term "pickers"? Pickers are people who obtain valuable relics out of obscurity and bring them into our stores, museums and living rooms. Would you like to see how some of these relics have been upcycled to gain new life? Do you want to support the local initiative promoting creativity and innovation in Waunakee? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please make plans to stop in at the Village Hall to learn more! You'll have the chance to view Jo Cahill's works and learn more about her art.

Residents Asked to Open Storm Sewer Inlets

Many of our storm sewer inlets are still filled with the snow from the recent storm. With rain forecasted in the coming days, the Village of Waunakee is asking residents to help clean out storm sewer inlets, especially in low lying areas and intersections. This will help prevent flooding and water pooling that could lead to icy streets as temperatures are due to drop after the rain.

Village crews will also be working on cleaning inlets; however, there are so many storms sewer inlets in the Village, staff may not be able to get them all before the expected rainfall. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
