Trains on Main Public Art Auction

Wauktoberfest Celebration Grounds
802 S. Century Avenue
Sunday, September 17, 2017
3:00 PM

Waunakee’s third annual public art project, Trains on Main, will come to an end at the Wauktoberfest Celebration grounds. Ten trains made by Waunakee artists will be auctioned off, with 100% of the proceeds to benefit local charities.

The steel train cutouts were donated by Endres Manufacturing Co., and artists were given free reign to enhance them however they saw fit. The trains have been on display at the Waunakee Area Chamber of Commerce since June, and now will all be available for purchase on September 17.

The auction is a live, in-person event held on the main stage at Endres Manufacturing.Co.’s Wauktoberfest Celebration; a fitting end to the Wisconsin themed project. Many train artists will be present for you to meet and to see their creations auctioned off. Starting bids for all trains will begin at $200.00, with proceeds benefitting two local programs: the Endres Manufacturing Co. Foundation and the Waunakee Creative Economy Initiative.
