Final Leaf Pick Up

Final leaf pick up will be the week of November 12, 2012 due to the fact that we need to get the leaf equipment switched over for snow removal operation. Place leaves on the terrace, not in the road. Leaves in bags will NOT be collected. Pick up begins Monday and is completed when Public Works has made it through the Village. Leaves can still be taken out to the compost site on Highway Q south of the Village, just past Highway K.

Sustain Main Campaign Meeting Next Wednesday

Waunakee's Sustain Main Campaign is holding its next meeting on November 14th at Noon at Village Hall.  Current agenda items include:

• Discuss various best practices from around the region (see resources on our webpage). If you do any of your own research, or hear about other information which might be of interest to the group, please send it on to me so I can post it.
• Village staff will present a tentative outline and framework that will guide us in developing our Sustain Main plan.
• DOT officials will be invited to the meeting to discuss DOT efforts that will relate to our Sustain Main work.

Lone Eagle Initiative Social Mixer Next Week

The Waunakee Lone Eagle Initiative is having a social mixer/cocktail hour next Tuesday evening (11/13) from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the brand new Lucky's Bar & Grille on Quinn Drive (address above).  This is your chance to meet other home office professionals (a.k.a. lone eagles) in a casual relaxed setting.
