Spring Bluegrass Music Festival

Saturday, May 14, 2016
Schumacher Farm Park
5682 Highway 19
12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The Friends of Schumacher Farm and the Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Music Association are joining forces with the Village of Waunakee and Town of Vienna to bring the Spring Bluegrass Music Festival.

Multiple Bluegrass bands are performing on two stages at Schumacher Farm Park. Truman’s Ridge is traveling across the border to share some original Chicago-style bluegrass, followed by Madison’s Spare Time who has been playing for over twenty years! Bluegrass bands including Milkhouse Radio and the Soggy Prairie Boys will perform on an outdoor amplified stage with festival seating, while Bluegrass bands including Down from the Hills and Northern Comfort will perform acoustically inside the historic Schumacher barn, built in 1908.

A $20 Admission will go towards farm restoration projects and educational programming. Free parking and tractor-drawn wagon rides to festival grounds will be available. Concessions will be sold on-site. This is a rain or shine event.
