Please be aware that there have been a number of recent thefts from vehicles and garages in Westport. According to a Waunakee Tribune report, this string of thefts has continued since at least last September.
According to the report, "The thieves look for easy access to valuables and will move from property to property looking for unlocked doors."
The Dane County Sheriff's Office urges citizens to lock vehicles and garage doors at all times, and keep all valuables hidden.
If you see anything suspicious, please report it immediately to the Sheriff at (608) 255-2345. As always, if it is an emergency, please dial 911.

How do we apply?
