For those of you who view roundabout with some trepidation, local resident Tom Cantwell has worked hard to put together a workshop on how to drive through roundabouts and how pedestrians can cross safely near roundabouts. If interested, plan on attending the workshop.

Heartline Theatricals presents a celebration of legendary composer, Stephen Schwartz, created and performed by teens! From "Godspell" to "Wicked", this music has been heard for over 40 years on Broadway, as well as garnered three Academy Awards for movies such as "Pocahontas", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "Enchanted". Come listen and learn more about this remarkable man and his music! Registration is not required but is appreciated.
The Waunakee Senior Center and Waunakee Public Library are co-hosting this program.

Cooking up The Bounty of Summer

Ahhh...Summer!! The beautiful brightly colored bounty of summer begins to appear in the store, the farmer's market and in gardens. Figuring out how to cook it into fresh, tasty summer meals, can be a challenge. Let Barbara Wright, Iocalvore chef, show you a thing or two about tasty, easy dishes. Come view a demonstration and taste some delicious samples! Space is limited and registration is required.

Chalk Walk - Color Walk Registration Ends August 1

Time: Race begins at 5:00 p.m.

Maybe you have heard of a Color Walk, but how about participating in a Chalk Color Walk! This one mile walk will be the most colorful and fun event you have ever been a part of! As you walk the Village Park route, you will be showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based powered dye turning you into a Technicolor canvas of fun! Just when you thought you couldn't possibly be more colorful, you'll cross the finish line and find yourself in the middle of a color storm at our race ending celebration including music and fun.

Notification of Blasting


Blasting will start during the week of July 7, 2014 on the Kilkenny Development south of Woodland and west of Regency Ridge. It is estimated the blasting will continue through September 1, 2014.
There will be multiple seismic monitors placed around the job site to record vibration.

Plan to join us for our July picnic lunch with brats, onion, baked beans, potato salad, watermelon and dessert. Then enjoy the "toe tapping" musical entertainment of the Southern Wisconsin Old Time Fiddlers!

There is no fee for the entertainment. A donation is requested for the meal. Don't forget to call 849-8385 or stop in to make your lunch reservation no later than 2:00 PM the day before.
