Weekly Recycling Pickup Started January 4

As of January 4, 2021, Pellitteri began collecting recycling every week along with your regular trash pickup in the Village of Waunakee! There was no change to your pickup day, but the timing of cart pickups may change. Please have both carts out to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your service day.

Additional Recycling That Doesn't Fit In Your Cart

Residents may place one properly prepared additional bag of recycling outside of their cart per week without a charge. If you have more than one extra bag, please call the Pellitteri office at 608-257-4285 to prepay for the additional bags prior to your pickup day. Please do not overload your carts, the cart lids should shut.

Additional recycling, including extra cardboard, must be placed in a clear plastic bag no larger than 32-gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds. The extra bag fee is $3.50 per bag for 2021.

If you consistently have additional recycling despite the new weekly recycling service, you may want to consider a larger or additional recycling cart. Please call Pellitteri for details at 608-257-4285, or contact Pellitteri online.
