Village Board Agenda Supplement for April 1, 2019 Meeting (Trial Period)

The Village is preparing a "Supplement to Agenda" prior to every Village Board meeting. We are doing this on a trial period to see how well it is received by the public.

Here is a link to the supplement for the April 1, 2019 meeting:

Supplement

This is an unofficial version of the agenda in which the Village Administrator adds some summary and straight forward commentary on the agenda items to be considered during the upcoming meeting. The purpose is to help citizens better understand the agenda items and action requests that are before the Board. You might consider it a succinct summary of the memos and attachments included in the full meeting packet. We are asking for feedback on this new agenda supplement. Please reach out to Village Administrator Todd Schmidt with your feedback. 608-850-5227 or tschmidt@waunakee.com.
This will be tired for a couple of months before considering whether to continue, adjust or discontinue, so your feedback is important.

TDS Fiber-Optic Network

Beginning next week, TDS will be starting a super high speed fiber-optic project in Waunakee and Dane. They will be upgrading and installing fiber optic facilities throughout the Village, and will have several contractors and subcontractors working simultaneously in different areas throughout the Village. The project is expected to be completed by end of October. TDS will be distributing an informational flyer to residents.
