Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be making their way into Waunakee to talk to the children about the North Pole and to share their wish list. Parents are invited to take pictures of their children with Santa Claus. Share a cozy afternoon, making crafts, enjoying entertainment, candy canes, cookies, cider and holiday fun. All ages are welcome to participate in the FREE event co-sponsored by the Waunakee Rotary Club.

Emerald Ash Borer Found in the Area

Emerald Ash Borer has been found on the north side of Madison in the area of one of the city's major parks. Dane County will become the 21st county in Wisconsin quarantined for Emerald Ash Borer.

Pellitteri Thanksgiving Holiday Collection

Residents normally serviced on Thursday, November 28, 2013 (Thanksgiving Day) will be serviced one day later than their normal pick up day. Please have carts out by 7:00 AM for collection. Please call Pellitteri at 608-257-4285 if you have any questions.

Compost Sites to Close for the Winter

MRD Compost Facility located at 5211 Highway Q and the Dane County Compost Facility located East of the Village of Waunakee on Highway 19 across from the landscape supply (f.k.a. Sparby's) will close for the winter months on Saturday, November 30, 2013.
