The Village of Waunakee is currently recruiting for the following position:

Citizen Services Representative (Village Hall) – The recruitment for this position has been extended. This part-time position is ideal for a candidate who is able to be productive in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable answering a multi-line phone, assisting people at the front counter, and performing other complex clerical tasks. Waunakee Utilities is currently recruiting for the following position:

Journey Electric Line Worker – This full-time journey-level electric line worker position will be involved in the operation, construction, and maintenance and repair of the electrical system. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, have successfully completed an apprenticeship program, and have a valid driver’s license. Application Deadline: Open until filled. Opera Preview of Madison Opera's Sweeny Todd

Salvatore Vasta III, Artistic Manager with Madison Opera, will present a one-hour multimedia preview of Madison Opera's Sweeny. In addition to giving a sneak peek of the show, the presentation will include information about the composer, the show's history and its place in popular culture. There will be no live singing at the preview, however there will be a video.

Tim Wurgler, program director for the Wisconsin School Music Association, and he will present a musical program entitled, We Shall Overcome: Music That Fed and Fueled a Movement. Created Equal: America's Civil Rights Struggle is made possible through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities as part of its Bridging Cultures initiative, in partner ship with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
