Culver's in Waunakee

The Friends of the Library will be sponsoring Scoopie Night at Culver's in Waunakee. Ten percent of all food and frozen custard sales between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM will be donated back to the Friends of the Library, which benefits the Waunakee Public Library.

Road Closure
As part of the construction for the new Waunakee Intermediate School, Woodland Drive is being modified near the school's entrance at Aldora Lane. The contractors will be adding turn lanes and re-grading the hill to the west to improve sight lines for the school entrance.
In order to complete the work in a safe manner, Woodland Drive will be closed from Aldora Lane to Kingsley Road, beginning on Monday, June 20 at approximately 9:00 a.m. The road will be closed to vehicular traffic for approximately 2-3 weeks, weather permitting. Please plan to use alternative routes.

Anyone who has interest in learning about Village projects and enjoys bike riding are invited to participate in this event. This bike tour will include stops around the Village to highlight and explain some of the major public projects that are or will be occurring in 2016 and beyond. The level of biking experience needed will be minimal. There will be some hills, but the pace will be relatively slow. Those participating should plan to wear light colored clothing and bike helmets. The group will enjoy a Police Department Bike Patrol escort by one of our officers.Village Administrator Todd Schmidt will guide the biking tour, and may be joined by other staff members as well.
Todd will be leaving the Ripp Park Parking Lot at 6:00 p.m. for about a 1 ½ hour ride (although riders may leave the tour early if needed). A rain date is scheduled for August 8.
No registration required; just show up ready to ride. If you have questions please call Todd directly at 850-5227 or email tschmidt@waunakee.com
