Senior Center Kitchen Assistant Position Opening

The Village of Waunakee Senior Center is seeking a helpful, people-oriented, part-time Kitchen Assistant. The successful candidate must be comfortable maintaining a strict adherence to safety and cleanliness in a kitchen, focus on customer service, and maintaining a personal and professional demeanor. This position will assist in kitchen upkeep during daily lunches among other kitchen and service based assignments. The position will work approximately 10 hours every week. Starting hourly wage is between $10.53 and $11.05, DOQ. The position requires completion of high school or the attainment of a GED equivalent.

Senior Center Welcome Desk Position Opening

The Village of Waunakee Senior Center is seeking an energetic, people-oriented, part-time Welcome Desk staff member. The successful candidate must be comfortable answering a multi-line phone, assisting people at the front counter, and performing other complex clerical tasks. This position requires excellent phone skills, word processing proficiency, and the willingness to be productive in a fast-paced environment. The position will work approximately 20 hours every week. Starting hourly wage is between $13.16 and $13.83, DOQ. The position requires completion of high school or the attainment of a GED equivalent.

Creative Wall at the Hall with Rona Neri-Bergmann

Would you like to see how a 20-year Waunakee resident has captured images of Schumacher Farm Park and many other hidden gems close to home in Dane County. Do you wish to support the local initiative promoting creativity and innovation in Waunakee? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please make plans to stop in at the Village Hall to learn more!

The Village Hall (500 West Main Street) currently has a wonderful exhibit of images taken by local photographer, Rona Neri-Bergmann. Make plans to stop in at the Village Hall, during business hours, for the months of January and February. You'll have the chance to view the photographs and learn more about Rona's artistic talents.
