Kids of all ages can climb on, explore and get up close with their favorite big rigs including a skid steer, snow plow, tractor, front loader, fire engine, dump truck, police car, construction trucks, and much more! Parents bring your cameras. Admission is FREE!

Block Parties

Neighborhood parties are a sign of summer fun and getting together with your family and friends. Remember, if you are going to be using the street and blocking it from traffic, you will need a Street Use Permit. Please allow 10 business days for approval of the permit. Committee Vacancies

The Village is accepting applications for vacancies to several committees. The committees that have openings are the Board of Appeals or the Board of Review as an alternate, or to the Police Commission. Applications are accepted at any time and kept on file in the event of a vacancy or resignation. If you have questions, please contact the Village Clerk or the Village Administrator by calling 608-850-8500.

Pet Licenses are Now Overdue

It shall be unlawful for any person in the village to own, harbor or keep any dog or cat of more than five months of age after April 1 of the license year without complying with the sections of this chapter relating to the listing, licensing and tagging of the dog or cat. Waunakee Code Sec. 14-41

The Village of Waunakee is now using an online animal licensing program, PetData. Animal licenses are no longer issued at any Village of Waunakee location. All licenses issued after March 31 of the licensing year are assessed a $5.00 per license late fee. Proof of rabies vaccination from your veterinarian stating the manufacturer name, serial number of the vaccine, expiration date of the vaccination, and spay/neuter information must be provided to PetData before a license can be issued.

Waunakee Community Band Summer Concert

Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the High School PAC.

Property Assessments

It’s that time of year again when property assessments are determined. If you assessment has changed from last year, you should be receiving a notice by mail sent by the Village’s Assessor, Associated Appraisal Consultants. Notices are expected to be mailed by Friday, May 29, 2015.
