Dane County Youth Survey Forum

All community members and parents of students attending the Waunakee Community School District are invited to attend a forum on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Waunakee Community High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) located at 301 Community Drive. The purpose of the forum is to share data collected from the Dane County Youth Survey that was administered in spring 2012 to students in schools across Dane County and to Waunakee Community School District students in grades 7-12. 

The focus for the evening will include:

Welcome and purpose for the evening
Overview of the Dane County Youth Survey
   - Survey Background
   - Survey Timeline
   - Population Surveyed

Summary of Survey Analysis from School District Administrative Team/High School Faculty/Community Focus Group
   - Five Positive Pieces of Data
   - Five Pieces of Data that are Cause for Concern 

Overview of Dane County School Data/Comparisons to Waunakee Students
Community Reaction/Feedback

The Dane County Youth Survey results for Waunakee Community Middle and High School Students are available on the high school website.  Please reference the results prior to the meeting.  These documents are lengthy and therefore will not be covered in great detail at the forum.
