At the Village Hall, we have received several questions addressing water accumulation at the roundabout. The final surface of asphalt is not yet installed in the roundabout area; however, it is installed on most of the remainder of the project area. What is visible now is not final grade and water accumulation will not occur when the project is complete.
At this time, we are still discouraging people from driving through the area unless they have a local destination (no thru traffic). We very much appreciate your patience as we work through the final weeks of the 2014 Main Street Construction.
