Explore 1930’s farm locavore cooking and eating
at this hands-on workshop. Using simple ingredients from the pantry, freezer
and cellar, and just the heat from a wood cook stove, participants will make
and enjoy a hearty fall lunch of pork, root vegetable stew, chicken patties
and gravy, onion pie, braised kale, farmhouse sourdough bread and pineapple
upside down cake. Instructor Steve Keip, is a chef and wood stove
expert. Participants will do all the chopping, cooking and cleanup, just like
on the farm.
