What would rural farming families do on a wintry February day? Snow sports and snow forts! We invite you to join us at the top of the hill for a snowy afternoon on the farm. Take your snow sled for a few runs or give snowshoes a spin. Find out what a quinzee hut is and how to build one. Check out the historic barn for hot cocoa and cool trivia about how animals survive winter. Warm beverages provided. Bring your own sled. The Village of Waunakee Recreation Department will provide a limited number of snowshoes and brief instruction.
