The candlelight hike which was originally scheduled for February 9 has been rescheduled for February 16. This free event is sure to be fun for the whole family. Hike
or snowshoe* the paths of the conservancy, guided by candlelight. After
you loop through the prairie or follow the creek side trail you will be able to
rest and warm up next to a bonfire, roast marshmallows and drink hot
cocoa. Restrooms and a warming area will be available at Michael F.
Simon’s office building located at 817 S. Division Street.
*A limited number of snowshoes will be available for use,
depending on snow accumulation
