Additional information from the project engineer:
The paving operation is scheduled to resume next week. The contractor will
start with the multiuse path from Cobblestone Lane to Tierney Drive, and then
start the binder (lower layer) in the same area. During the binder paving
operation travel between Cobblestone Lane and Tierney Drive will again be a
challenge. Please allow extra time and expect delays.
The week of October 10, 2011 the contractor will begin the surface (upper
layer) for the entire project. The contractor anticipates starting at Tierney
Drive working south. When this is complete the contractor will pave from
Tierney Drive working north, and at this time all traffic will enter and exit
from the south with the exception of the Emerald Grove Lane residents. Please
allow extra time and expect delays.
I will send out the anticipated daily schedule for the paving operation the
night before and the changeable message boards will be used to assist with the
traffic flow.
