The Waunakee Creative Economy Initiative has a name: Create Waunakee! And now it is the community’s chance to show off their creative skills with the Create Waunakee logo contest.

The Village of Waunakee is looking for imaginative residents to submit their logo design ideas for the new organization. Create Waunakee was developed from the creative economy initiative that began in 2018 when the Village partnered with the UW Bolz Center to develop an organization to inspire, connect, and unite current and future residents of Waunakee. Waunakee is a unique and vibrant community and the goal of Create Waunakee is to celebrate the creativity, innovation, and the arts that thrive within the town.

The logo should embody both the spirit of Create Waunakee and the Village of Waunakee. The winning submission will receive $100 Waunakee Chamber Bucks. The contest is open to residents of any age living within the school district of Waunakee.

Logos can be submitted via email as a .JPEG, .PDF or .PNG file to contact@gonorthbranding.com or a hard copy submitted in person to Todd Schmidt at Village Hall, located at 500 West Main Street. Please include your name, email and phone number with the logo design. For participants younger than 18, please include a parent or guardian’s name, email and phone number and signature of permission.

Submissions must be turned in by June 7, 2019. For additional information, rules and regulations, visit https://www.gonorthbranding.com/create-waunakee-logo-contest
